Developmental stages – ages 10-18 months
The doctor in the story checks eyes, ears, height, weight and heart, but many other developmental milestones are shown in the illustrations. Below are outlined the type of questions doctors and other health workers ask when establishing what stage a child is at.

Personal, Social & Family
Family mealtimes are important to develop a sense of family, and to watch and learn from how others eat, talk and care for each other.
By the time your baby is one, they should have stopped using bottles. Using an open cup or a free-flow cup will help your baby learn to sip rather than suck, which is better for their teeth. When you dress your baby, does she push her arms through a sleeve once her arm is started in the hole of the sleeve?

Does your baby play with a doll or soft toy by hugging it?
When you ask for his toy, does your baby offer it? |
