Talks, workshops and Author visits

For adults

Since 2017, I've focussed primarily on workshops for adults - for librarians, teachers, early years professionals and parents.
The workshops fall into three main categories (though if you'd like me to speak about something else, I'm very happy to do so).
Talks to professionals working with children
and young people

teachers, librarians or early childhood workers

These talks usually centre on book selection and using books with children
Talks to authors and other creatives
These talks are have covered everything from making the best use of a visit to a book fair to the praticular challenges of writing for early years.

For children

The Lulu and Zeki stories are much more suited to one-to-one tellings than performace, so I rarely do one-off storytimes.
I've done projects in schools around bookmaking and developing writing along with longer-term projects where I've been a Publisher in Residence.
I have done some single events at festivals, libraries and pre-schools.
