Preparing to look after a Pet and more...
|
Lulu LOVES cats and really wants a real one, but Mummy says taking care of a pet is a lot of work...
So Lulu does her homework... At the library she finds books about cats and pet care and she and Mummy learn as much as they can. She pretends her stuffed kitty is real and practices taking care of it. When the time comes, Lulu is allowed to pick out her new friend at an animal shelter. With patience and care, her kitten settles in at home. |
Lulu never fails to delight: this new story, ticks all the boxes for showing the very young that becoming a pet owner involves considerable responsibility, as well as introducing the basics of adopting a cat. This is such a fantastic book! It really does cover the basis of adopting a cat and home important it is to let it settle in. |
